New Lytera® 2.0 is an advanced Pigment Correcting Serum, formulated to address the appearance of stubborn skin discoloration — regardless of where or why it starts.
Many things can influence your skin’s natural color. Discoloration can be caused by either external or internal factors. External factors could be sun exposure and pollution, while internal factors could be ethnicity and hormones.
Hyperpigmentation is the clinical name for any uneven darkening of the skin. This is caused by an excess production of melanin, a pigment that gives skin its color. Some skin discoloration may be temporary. If you are noticing persistent skin discoloration over time, that may indicate a more chronic skin condition. Skin discoloration can have a deeper effect than what’s on the surface. Without a professional diagnosis, many feel at a loss to accurately identify their condition or even how to describe it. Some common terms include: dark spots, blotches, or age spots. Regardless of what it’s called, most people want a solution that restores even skin tone.
Lytera® 2.0 has been shown to provide noticeable improvements in the appearance of overall hyperpigmentation in as early as 2 weeks. Lytera® 2.0 has been clinically tested to work across all skin tones/types. However, every patient is different and using the products as directed is critical for maximum results. Clinical trials with Lytera® 2.0 demonstrated significant and continued improvements in the appearance of overall hyperpigmentation at 4, 8, and 12 weeks.
